Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of apps published by Mooneroid(“we”, “us”, or “our”), including APRSJockey (each, an “App”). By downloading, installing, or using an App, you agree to these Terms.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules set forth in Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing amateur radio operation in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any radio transmissions you make using or in conjunction with the App comply with the terms of your amateur radio license.

User Content

Any callsigns, messages, comments, or position data you transmit through the App are sent over public amateur radio and APRS networks. You are responsible for the content you transmit and for ensuring you have the right to transmit it.

No Warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any APRS data displayed will be accurate or timely.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mooneroid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Third-Party Terms

These Terms are between you and Mooneroid only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App. The Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies in addition to these Terms where relevant.
